Pablo Fernández del Castillo Garibay also known as Pabs was born in Mexico, but has spent half of his life in Barcelona. His work is spontaneous, simple, colorful and fresh. Whether the technique is graffiti, free hand drawing, or digital, Pabs creates friendly characters that meld with their simplistic, and colorful humour.
Pabs has worked in illustration, character creation, and creative direction. He has worked with big agencies like BBDO, Ogilvy, JWT, HAVAS, DDB between many important brands through is long career.
He studied as part of the first generation at Pictoplasma Academy, where with other artists, he specialized in character creation.
He has shown is work in exhibits in Barcelona, Mallorca, Madrid and Berlin.
His work can be seen in murals around Barcelona and most recently exhibited his work “Fast Food Feelings” at the Image Café at La Caixa.
